I missed the after Christmas run because the rig wasn't ready. Got some time and she's ready and the chains are loaded.

Can you clarify the meeting spot? I've never been here before.

I had fun even though we didn't make it too the top. Thanks to everybody who helped tug my ass out... all those times.

Even though nothing broke, this was a very expensive trip for me. Some 39.5/13.5R17 bias Iroks are headed to 4WheelParts with my name on them.

Now on to the beadlocks...Trail Ready is by top choice but the Trail Gears get good reviews and are a bit cheaper. I'm not a huge fan of the TG look, but that won't be a driver.

Don't do 17" Irocs. They will not stay on the inner beads when aired down.

Too late now...

Maybe I should go with Hutchinson double beadlocks. I do like the DOT nature of them, I just wasn't thrilled about the backspacing. I'll keep having to run spacers for sure.

Dave, buy some custom back spaced steel wheels and weld on your own beadlocks.

Bought the Hutchinson Rock Monsters...

Hopefully my 4.88s diffs can handle road duty and I'll just put in 3.116 gears in my TC (replaces 2.488).

My list of things to worry about:
1) Tire rub
2) Spare Birfs (already have Longfields)
3) Gearing
4) Hydro Steering

I wheeled Hutchinsons for a couple years with 35 PBR. Everything worked great. Only down side was cost and I couldn't get the shimmy in the steering to go away. Happened 35-45MPH and it was hit and miss. It could have been the tires I suppose.
