Just wanted to get some quick opinions (since that's what these type discussions seem to always devolve to anyway; just opinions) for the rod end options. I'm doing an XJ in various small steps so i'll be converting some cheap fixed control arms to adjustables- they're bushed on one end which i'll use frame side, but for the axle end I'll need to replace the (compeltely and utterly ruined) RE super flex joints. Because the rig must drive to and from the trails as well as double for hahuling my kayaks to the river on weekends, I'm having a really hard time deciding on what to stick on the other end. Long term, these rod ends will be re-used for a custom 3 link. It seems like you can look and find people praising/condeming rebuildables/heims in equal measure. For my application, would you recommend heims or rebuildables? For either option, what manufacturers are the current favorites?
