Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

It almost makes sense though only if they do away with other footholds they use to collect (tabs).

Trooof right here for the dummies.

I hate using this as an excuse - but look who you're voting into office people. Notice the highest taxed states are democratic states, lowest are republican. These politicians keeps taxing you like mad to give you services you don't really need. Why do you think transportation budgets are drained in these states? One hand is paying the other for needless #$%$.

It's already in the works for us. They just have to impose it, along with enslee's "carbon tax" on fuel that he wants to use to pay for the education mandate. That, and when 594 passes, it's gonna be a busy year of contacting your senators and reps to un**** us...

I don't like it under the simple fact as in those how have no choice to drive are stuck. Yes the more you drive, the more wear on the road, but as a part of work I and my employes have to drive all over to get to our job sites. No other option.

If they did implement it, just from that artical I see people are WAY overthinking it. We don't need pump monitors or things in our cars, every two years we visit the dmv for a smog test, real easy to pull the odometer reading. Or make it part of tab renewal, sure, a small percentage can fool the system, but the vast magority can't or won't.

No more "automatic" widgets (don't get me started on the overly complicated 'hot' lane BS, or the variable toll system, waste of $$ for what used to be so simple)

That is a benefit you enjoy under everyone paying into the kitty for the benefit of all drivers that don't pay fuel and road taxes. However, bennies like that are slowly being weeded out. Our governments and laws are corrupt and favor those who get the immediate benefits of them. Ever wonder why our governments don't have the same healthcare we do, yet they are the ones who dictate it's policies? This is one of the first things I'd love to see changed.

I moved back here from western "Taxachusetts" a couple of years ago. I thought MA was bad! This state absolutely SUCKS with how, who and how much revenue it collects as well as how it's spent.

Massachusetts is a bastion of liberalism except for that brief mistake it made when Romney was governor. However, the citizens are more educated and involved politically both conservative and liberal, Rep and Dem and those numbers are rising while here they are dropping.

The people MUST get educated and involved politically if you want to right this sinking ship. One of the more annoying things I see from people is not contacting their elected representatives because of political affiliation. These people were elected to represent their constituents, not just the people who voted for them. If enough people contacted their elected representatives they CAN force their hands. Don't let political affiliation be an excuse. NUMBERS and facts are the key.

I don't have to get smog tests either but I can see why they are required in heavily populated areas.
