Bought a new sony CD player cuz the stock unit **** the bed in the wife's h3, I need a wiring kit and apparently it takes some special thing? Where can I get it and what is it called? 2007 H3

The "some special thing" is probably a security module.

Does it have steering wheel controls?

Crutchfield.com has pretty good info on what is needed for different vehicles if you're a stereo newb

I did my mother in laws Yukon. Ended up being more in security and steering wheel controls then the head unit.

You'll probably come out cheaper getting a stock replacement fwiw. Also has to have the door chime module interface hootus.
