So I finally got done rebuilding my passenger hub and putting new brake pads and a few other doo dads. So of course we went out wheeling to see how we did. We got to the trail head and of course there is a stuck stock chevy. So we pull him out and continue on down the trail. pics and video in next post.:awesomework:

Goin up the first part of the trail was easy.

But once we got to the first switchback it was all freshies. Wade started plowing trail with his automatic 4runner with 4.88s and 31in swampers. He did good.

Then it was my turn to plow some trail.

Looks like fun. They let you drive off trail in Montana? You would get strung up by your nuts around here.

Trail? What trail? I thought this was the trail. :redneck:

I stay on trail as much as possible but in the winter time its really doesnt do any damage to the land. Plus I have always wanted to go down hill in deep snow. I was very impressed with how good my truck churned through it.:masturbanana[1]:

Not saying I agree with or disagre with this comment but the FS and such would highly disagree with you. Ruts cause drainage issues creating new paths for water to flow into and diverting the flow from where its supposed to go. The small plants under the snow are also harmed both from getting chewed up and by un-natrual compaction. As evident in this picture we do tend to break thru the snow and cause damage. This damage dosent show up of course until spring and then of course everyone is wondering who the dumbass was that went cross country. Were in for the fight of our lives to keep our trail access for the next few years. We all need to do our part to keep our trails open by staying on the designated routes:awesomework:
