i could use a little help

I have a 86 runner with a 22RE,i just rebuilt the motor and it runs great except it has a studer at a steady RPM it could be 2500 or up about 3500.
the problem is its not all the time but it is most of the time,like 1 cyl doesnt fire intermitantly.
it has an all new bottem end the top end has about 3000 miles on it,new fuel filter everything is hooked up like it suppose to be.
its like its looseing spark or fuel for a split second and i just cant put my finger on it.
any ideas would be greatfull,thanks for the help

make sure all your grounds are tight/clean....bad grounds do wierd things....

Sounds like a secondary ignition problem

Secondary system consists of plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil wire and half of the coil :redneck:

I have seen new plugs bad. Also, did you gap the plugs?

i gaped them,as far as i can tell while cranking they all had spark.
how to you tell if there bad?
