It took 54 days but my new FJ80 diamond axle is here:

My wife took this picture right after the UPS guy got there.

I plan to have everything back together this weekend and if things go right, I'll wheel it the following weekend.

I kind of see it in the bottom picture too. I just went out to the garage with a straight edge and checked it out carefully. The axle housing is fine.

The way that center section is constructed looks almost identical to my Crossed UP Offroad 9 inch center section.....

That is one beefy rear end with that new housing. I would think you'll be hard pressed to have any issues with that.
