You guys have probably been reading about it on other pages but just saw that Jessi Combs died trying to set a new land speed record. Bummed. Didn't know her but seemed like she put a lot of heart and soul into offroad motor sports.

I met her once, down in Hollister Cali for the Top Truck event, when she was a Warn rep. That was 2012. Didn't really talk to her, but she was out and about, and friendly with everyone.

It's very sad when someone dies in a motorsports event, even if it wasn't your event, or, your circle. Jessi influenced a lot of folks, thru multiple channels, both on TV, and in person. She will be missed.
