• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

JESUS= Hope ( a thread for encouragement)

Just a lil silliness to start the day. https://vimeo.com/107476647

Have a blessed day.

I posed this question in Sunday School this morning. How much more is God calling us to do with our life? To say that God's calling on our life is simply to be faithful churchgoers, is ridiculous. Yes, He wants that, but God did not send his only begotten son to be bruise and broken on the cross facing the worst pain anyone has ever faced, freeing us from the bondage sin has on our life JUST so we would be regulars at church. Go this week with intentionality and live the Gospel,. I hope all you hardliners have a blessed and wonderful week!

Odd how things find us as we contemplate our next move in live that aren't ours but bought with a price on the cross.

Re:

A pastor I have met on a Jeep forum posted one of his sermons on line. If y'all have a few minutes download it and listen to it I found it very good.

Why is it if we were given a million dollars and told to spend it we would have no problem letting people know but we have the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus yet we seldom tell a single person? Have a great week this week men, be praying for the family who lost their twins and the family with the new addition. Make a difference in someone's life this week and tell the. About Christ!

Yep Yep, great points lately. I can't believe its been 5 years since I started this thread. Keep it up guys. Anywhere we can infiltrate Christ we need to.

Right about now Jesus was being savagely beaten and was about to carry his cross up the hill to Golgotha where He would be crushed by our all of our sin past present and future. He bore this burden, was separated from His almighty father, and died so we may be redeemed from a life enslaved to sin and so that we would not have to be separated from God. Jesus died. The great news is that the story doesn't end there........Sunday is coming!!!!

Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Hope we are all in a Service on Easter Sunday!

I find myself on this sight almost everyday now and it's threads like this that keep me coming back, thanks. It's a great day to be a believer. We are truly blessed because of the death and resurrection of of Jesus Christ....

Started a small men's group that meets by weekly to discuss bible reading that we go through together between meetings, practice sharing our faith and pray for different things. It has been great! I encourage anyone to do it. It is major when it comes to staying on track when you have 4 or 5 accountability partners.

This has been on my mind for a few days: Why do we think that Jesus died on the cross to clean us up so we can act better and stop doing bad things? If that is what we think and how we live our life, we have sold the Gospel short on so many levels. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we may have eternal fellowship with God The Father. The truth is when we accept Christ into our lives, we are crucified with Christ and it is no longer us, it is Christ living in us. If we spent as much time abiding in Christ as we do abiding in the world, if we followed His model of discipleship, and if we loved the way He loved, we (Christians) could change the world. The Great Commission tells us all power in Heaven and Earth has been given to us to make disciples and win the world, do you live like you have all power in heaven and earth? Have a great weekend men (and women if there are any).

It seems that lately the Off-road community has been plagued with too many unfortunate accidents with devastating results. Whether these incidents were of human error or not is not to be debated in this thread and is not my point of writing this, but is to merely point out that God has his hand in everything we do, good or bad. Everything we do everyday can have catastrophic results or by the grace of God, glorious results.

With that said, I write this because of an unsung organization that leaves me with a true calm before the proverbial storm. Racers For Christ (Team RFC) has provided a chaplain before a few of the races I have entered and I can tell you first hand that they have truly made a difference in the way I approach the day. They give me the calm mindset to realize what is most important in my life before heading up the hill.
God, family, friendship.

Without God, I am nothing more than a broken man with sins he washes away time after time. I am of the realization that he compels me to be a better man/ person each and every day. As for the racing portion, I know that I must return to my family and that racing is just for the fun of it and nothing more. My life is NOT worth the price that has recently been paid by others. My heart bleeds for Jerrod, Valerie, and other friends of mine that have to burden the shoulder of pain for their losses. Maybe it has taken 5 deaths of people I know in the last 1.5 years for me to realize that life is too short to risk it all for a moment in the Limelight. But still, I will try my hardest in what ever I do, but I now ride with a passenger. God.

I have recently been in contact with Eddie Baugher, Field Ministry Director for RFC and I will be rocking there colors on my buggy in hopes to maybe help others to see the light than has been shined onto me. Please look into there organization as they have been deeply involved in other forms of racing for the past 45 years, mostly on the West coast and hopefully will grow in our field of racing. Thank you for your time and God Bless all of you in whatever form of fun you choose. Gregg

Re:

Got this in a email this week and decided it would be best to post it up here.

This is related to the War On Porn

This on why we shouldn't stop going to Church, I really needed to read this.

Myself and a couple of other families are working on an off road ministry. We have been doing a lot of behind the scene stuff with our pastor and are going to have a ride sometime this fall. Hopefully it will be a 2 day ride starting Friday morning. The plan would be to end Friday with a sunset worship service and get up Saturday morning and have a good old fashioned 30-45 minute devotional/prayer breakfast, and End Saturday afternoon with another worship service. We are planning on bringing our block party trailer and having snow cones and bouncer houses for the kids and other fun stuff to do if the families want to stay off the trails for a while. I have never been to Crawl 4 Christ but I am going to assume this would be similar. Our ultimate goal is to have "churches" that meet at parks across the southeast and have church services. We are a long way from that right now, but we have to start somewhere so we are starting here. Many prayers are needed so keep us in mind as you pray. Hopefully we are going to have our ride at Hawk Pride.

I am going to contact them in the next few days and see what they need to help minister to the off road community.

Outstanding, he is really looking to reach out more in this region and would like to find a full time pastor for our Riding/ Racing addictions. I am also on the board of directors for an organization called "Big Time Ministry" which is for youth ministries. Our program starts with kids in the 6th grade and does a Real Man retreat when the graduate from Junior high school to High school. It's a pretty big deal and we just had ours two weeks ago. Kids are where it all begins and we need to keep their spirits up throughout their lives. Let me know what Mr. Baugher tells you. Let's snowball this thing. thumb.gif
