Ok the situation I'm in right now just happened today. My daughters best friend, I've know this girl since she was 3 and now they are 13. She spends weekends with us a lot, goes camping ect..Pretty much my second daughter. Well her parents are Navy and in Virginia. They used to live here a few years ago then transferred to Virginia. Well they had orders back to WA this past summer so they moved their daughter back up here to start the school year here in Kitsap county. The plan was she would live with her grand parents until they moved up in OCT. Well that didn't happen and she is still with the grandparents who don't celebrate Christmas so they are doing nothing. No presents for her.

Bottom line parents are still not moved here, her younger brother is back in VA with her parents spending Christmas with them. The parents sent her one gift, which she has already opened. She spent the weekend with us but today it was decided she was staying with us for Christmas. So I've been out shopping today for both my daughter and her. I've relabeled some of the presents I got for my daughter Lexi for her friend Kali. But the problem I've ran into is I'm out of money and don't want this girl not enjoy Christmas. I don't want her feeling left out. So far she has about 7 presents from us. If anyone can donate a present for her. I can meet you tomorrow morning or something. Only asking the people in Kitsap area please. I can't be all over the state on the eve of Christmas.

If it's clothes she is 13 years old and I believe shirt size is XS, and she wears a zero.

If you can help, text me 360- 4four0-six27six.

I don't expect nothing but it would be nice just to WOW her. Because she is miserable living with her grandparents.

Thanks
Jon.

For my paypal addy use [email protected]. That would probably work best if your donating cash. Then I would run out tomorrow and get some last minute stuff.

Here's a pic of the girls making cookies. Kali is the right. I'm overwhelmed and teary eyed with the generosity from those who have help. Now I just have to figure out what to get her.

What do you get a 13 year old girl?

I told my wife about what I am doing and she said "You have some really good people in your life"

Kali is on the right.

Hope that all will go good. Save it for a plane ticket to see her parents. Round trip for a weekend would be a cool present

Thank you for everyone who had helped out. I can say with confidence she will have a good Christmas. I'm still at the mall battling the crowds but getting it done. Thank you again.

Ok everyone Thank you once again. :awesomework::beer::cheer:I'm back from shopping, she has a total of 20 gifts. All gifts are labelled from "Secret Santa"

We noticed she always has the same clothes every weekend she is here so I bought her but load of clothes. From a Hollister Jacket, pants and a shirt. To some slippers, a dozen pairs of socks, nice shoes, sweatshirts, games for her 3DS, Xbox games, Some art thing because she is into drawing, a big stuffed animal pillow thing, & a gift card. I can't think of what else but more or less I spent all except $36.07.

So I would like to donate that to a charity or back to our community. Or maybe we should put together a fund for situations like this for when something happens in the future.

What do you guys think?
