So I am researching on converting my 9k generator to dual fuel (gas/propane) and all I see is whats considered low pressure propane. What exactly is that?

Low pressure is BBQ tanks, RV's, stoves and that kind of stuff. They use "Vapor".

Vehicles typically use Liquid because they require so much more fuel. Liquid tanks or the liquid port on a tank would have 'dip tube' to draw the liquid.

Low pressure it what you're going to most likely need/want/use for a generator.

Several years ago I was able to buy a high pressure regulator from Cenex for my forge. At the time that was the only place I could find one.

I looked into this before I converted my generator and my inlaws generator.

The giant tank at my inlaws is high pressure so they had a T added that had a reducer and regulator for their generator.

My setup here at my house I hook up to the natural gas line but in a pinch I can also use the standard bbq sized propane tanks or unleaded.

I bought the 2 kits at http://www.propane-generators.com/tri-fuel_kits.php
Their website is super old looking but I found what I needed and tons of info there.
