Now Now... don't plug up my "Toyota ***got" thread with this K5 bull****... :flipoff:

Soooo... we will start with the nice to meet you...

Met several NWW folks out and about in the greater Manastash area this weekend... Off the top of my head, Annabannana, KarlVP, Phantom 309, and a few others that I cant remember... Always cool to put a face with a name...

It was nice to meet you as well Pooh, and yes, we did have quite the Winchfest going on up that section when you happened along behind us. And we do have EXCELLENT teamwork ~ Makes for a great club with great members.

Out of our group, we had KarlVP (and Ruthie), Tomsbrokeagain (Tomtom) & Attitude (Penny) , Karthart77 (Chad) and his brother and a friend, Fifo (Mike) & Spydergurl (Claire), CrustyJeep (Glen) & Mrs. Crusty (Maryann), XJ T&A? (Terry) all of which are some of the fine members from the Tamers.

speaking of idiots at work...
You didn't by chance happen to notice the red buggy and white Rubicon tooling around in the same area as were were did you? They had a SMALL CHILD in a green long sleeved tee shirt riding on the lap of the female passenger while they were driving around, at funny rocks the trail to moon-rocks and again on moon-rocks, where they then finally took the child out of the vehicle while negotiating the hairy obstacle, only to put him back in on the woman's lap shortly thereafter.

Beer bottles, litter and overall neglect and destruction on the trail is something we see all to often, but a friggen defenseless child, who will undoubtedly pay the price down the road for injuries sustained from smacking his *fill in the blank* on the *fill in the blank* ... that really lit me up. I witnessed THREE separate poor choices on that vehicles part. NOTHING excuses that type of decision making, or lack thereof.

speaking of toyota ***s....Karhart77? what a puke!:kissmybutt:

Yeah, I actually know who they are.

I was up there this weekend, I kinda kept to myself and wheeled with family. We also found lots of trash on the trails that we went on and hauled it all out. I was able to get to the funny rocks via the trail in the woods above the lake on Friday and got the buggy so stuck in the snow I had to walk out about 5 miles to camp to get help. I met up with OrangeCrush and his group that drove me all the way back up there around 7pm that night and pulled me out. Thanks so much again guys :awesomework:. On Saturday my alternator took a dump on me so we finished the weekend off by doing some shooting and campfire building. It was a good weekend. I will post a small vid later.

I was in the red CJ with Pooh's group, I mean the Toyota ***s. The team work you guys employed was a joy to watch. We copied your daisy chain to pull the fullsize up the hill, then my winch broke :booo: so I just drug him up. :cheer:

Meh, I had a good time this weekend.

exept for my failed alty while stuck.
would keep my rig running, but nothing else.. if i even touched the winch control my rig died.

I was camping up there also, My camp site was located on the other side of the second American river bridge. I went early friday. I think we crossed chinook pass at 1:00 p.m. I set up camp and watched the line of wheelers go by for the rest of the afternoon/evening. I was telling the girlfriend that with the number of rigs, it was going to be a crazy weekend.
Saturday morning I went out in the tracker( I think I was the only one out there in a tracker) And was flabergasted at what was going on. Drunk ass fools all over up the natches. I wanted to go up to at least five fingers, but the drunk assholes were everywere. I looked at the girlfriend and told her sorry, but I just didnt want to deal with this ****. TOO LATE. A group of jeeps proceeded to tell me that my tracker was cute and had no business in the woods. I didnt want to get into a fight with a group of drunks with just me and my girlfriend. So I just turned around and left. That was all the wheeling that I did for the rest of the weekend. But I did have a great time camping.

So were you you the ones camped just off the road above Manastash camp ground?

I just might after having to pull the jeeps around the hills this weekend. My old toy can only take so much abuse
