On a hill climb I took out my Dana 30. It sounds like the R&P teeth are gone. Test Dummy pulled my front drive line.

We wheeled on out toward the gravel pit.

Most everyone was feeling beat up so we called it a day. We said our good byes and headed out.

Some of us were camping at BlindPilot's family's home on the lake. We headed back for a potluck and to play in/on the water.

Here are some

The follow-up on my Dana 30.

Here are the pictures what broke:

We got this Dana 30 out of a high mileage 1984 XJ a few years back.
I ran it in the Molly Mule (Red 1988 XJ) and then in the Tweety Jeep (Yellow 1989 XJ).
I put a lot of off road miles on it without ever having problems until this.

We have another old used Dana 30 in the rig now. Testing it this Saturday.

i thought broken dana 30's came stock in jeeps?:eeek: o wait, i am thinkin of dana 35's, my bad, broken dana 30's are aftermarket:fawkdancesmiley:

Is there really any point to testing a Dana 30? I thought that's what breaks them:fawkdancesmiley::redneck:

:haha:

Sure talk bad about these Dana 30 & 35s. They seem to work fine for a lot of wheelers for years.
:corn:
