It won't be any kind of rock crawler, but it should tear up a mud pit pretty good when it's ready. And by ready I mean a dual range trans mated to a 190hp 2.2 turbo. Keep in mind, these only tip the scales at about 2400 lbs. . .

Never fails to amaze me what can be done to the older Subarus. I've seen a couple Brats here get lifted and set up for wheeling. And a couple wagons. Never a coupe. Is that going to be street legal?

I did notice the exhaust pipe not quite being attached. So, what does a Boxter sound like without an exhaust?

are you going to trim the fenders a bit (boatside ?)?

Yeah, a little. It's hardly noticeable, most of the bashing is on the floor pan.

Here's how the Brat looks with them on.

The Brat has to sell so I can afford what I want. It should have a pretty gnarly boxer growl when it's done.
