They do and you get cool white french fries flying everywhere when your really romping! I weighed the rubber after I cut them - took 10lbs off the set. Did a buddies Krawlers first like the one in the pic and he's been running them almost a year - he said before they hydroplaned pretty bad on the road in hard rain - and afterwards they were a ton better for that and quieter as well didn't get a big trail review from him as he is not a hard core wheeler but I expect improvements there as well.
