new motor help 22re

ok now im lost and need help
i have put in my new motor and everything is hooked up but,it sounds like i have no compression
im pretty sure i got the dist, in right and i no the chain is right i have fuel.spark all that kinda stuff.
now what?

Are you positive the dist is in right, and you don't have the cap off 180 degrees? It's been a while since I put a 22re dist in, so I can't refer to the exact way to do it.

What does the motor do when you try to fire it up? Just turn over, or does it sputter and cough a bit at all?

Also, it may be obvious, but check all your grounds and connections... I had some WIERD problems with mine when I left off the block ground but had the firewall to valve cover ground on.

well she running again had to readjust the valve train it was way to tight
