Hey guys, im new to the forum's. One of my buddy's that goes on here a lot reccomended me to you guys for a lot of things. First off i'd like to say hi, i'm new and i look foreward to being here a while haha. And second off, i got myself into a huge prediciment last night, i was out wheelin in monroe and my front drive shaft sheared off, my buddy came to pull me out of a mud hole i was stuck in then we started to leave, shortly after that on the trail to get out, my entire passanger side knuckle broke. So i cut my losses last night and left my rig there. Hopefully one of you guys can help me out, i'd really surely appreciate it, i can pay you for helping me and i plan on getting all the parts myself today and tomorrow.

Thanks,

Is it still in one piece (well, two...:redneck:)... Hope you get it out of wherever it is....

Welcome.

Now tell us EXACTLY where your rig was stuck/broke at?

Make it worth my while and i can give exact coordinates:;:haha:

there's legal wheeling in Monroe?

Who said anything about legal:flipoff:

We are getting him out soon. BirdBrain has a spare sfa for parts, so he just needs to get his ass out there and learn how to tear apart a solid axle!

You better start :kissmybutt:

Welcome, oh and Im in Monroe, strange i didnt get a text a about this. You must be pretty young. :awesomework:

Btw, how does your driveshaft just "shear off"?!

Sounds like you broke the pinion gear at the flange.

What part of Monroe were you wheeling in? Surely this was Legal wheeling, in accordance with treading lightly?

Welcome, we all started out this way :haha:

I remember the first time I got stuck, it was at a golf course in 1986, I made it out before the law got me :redneck:

Educate, sure.

But help? Lets wait for the whole story first. Private property wheeling, sure. But illegal offroad "hey check out my cool truck bro" wheeling, no way.

Based on the previously aforementioned "Who said anything about Legal" this thread, and the truck, should be reported to the authorities. Stupid crap like this gets wheeling shut down for the rest of us.

Maybe we can take him up to reiter and show him how t.....oh, right. Illegal wheeling (among other things) did wonders for that place.

And many times had we not helped--things would be far worse and there are many many instances of this.

I recall an instance where 2 runners got stuck in may creek durring a nasty storm. They panic'd and called the sherifs and search and rescue came out. The law got involved where it could have been handled differently had wheelers (They tried to contact me but I was gone that night). helped out. I spent the next 2 days retrieving both vehicles and got to build a relationship with one and to this day both drivers had learned a valuable lesson.

Legality aside its still my outlook to help when possable to keep the laws out out of it.

Another instance is the jeep stuck in the river above index, ect ect ect ect...

young and dumb but willing to learn and help others, sometimes a talk with is better in the long run than piss off the uneducated and have nothing learned

Legal wheeling or not we are still a family and help is needed. Way to welcome the new guy by turning him over to the fuzz.

He has a non extended front driveshaft, sheared just the tip off inside the female end.

Oh wahhh, illegal wheeling:rolleyes:
There is only a handful of us that know of the spot. No one goes without one of us 4 or 5 that are regulars. I haul out all the trash i find. And its logging land.

I dont see the problem. Only people who care are the horse riders because we ruin "their" trails, if they really want to call the cops, they can have fun paying a trespassing ticket as well. (Just to be more clear, the horse riders are trespassing as well. They are just using about 150 less horsepower:redneck:)

Oh and the topic of reiter, theres no dumping, or stolen cars at our spot.

Bye Josh:kiss:

I didn't borrow any of your tools lol! And i didn't use your tie rod, the only thing i used were those bolts and the part of the driveshaft that connects to the front diff.

I dont want to know the specifics......but was he actually in Monroe...or just Monroe adjacent?

It's actually in Monroe.
