The water was over my 48" tires, and I had to be winched out. The truck has a 454 and Detroit lockers front and rear. About 6" of rock in the bottom of that 40' long section would make it passible. The rest of the Swamp trail was great.

If someone will tow my blazer with my car trailer, then I can tow my 28ft Toy Hauler up there for the weekend. I can sleep 8 easily for anyone that needs a place to sleep.

last sunday we ran into a group of Quads on the swamp trail, they were running through the woods on the left hand side as you come in from the Gotcha end. looks like quite a few rigs, quads & 4x4s, are starting a bypass there. probably needs to be blocked off.

P.S. when we told them them of their error they were very nice, turned there group of 10 Quads around and went back out. One Father in the group actually called his group together including teen & younger kids and explained that what they were doing was wrong, and they would not do it again. they appologized for not knowing the rules well enough and went back out.
i was amazed. thats not the typical reaction when you tell someone they shouldnt be running a certain trail.:awesomework:
