Thank you for pointing out that the axle is a 86-95 toy rear...i referenced Randy's ring and pinions Differentials book,
and i quote "The unit can be I.D.'ed by application and by its larger 3rd member mounting bolt pattern, 12 bolts instead of 10 and larger studs (10MM vs 8MM on the other axles). " so i guess it is a 86-95.
i was going to use this rear in my buggy project when i started.
I have a 92 v6 third member that has ABS, and when i tried to put THESE shafts into THIS housing, they would not fully seat, they liked about a 1/4 on each side....that is why i thought it was a TACOMA rear and not a 86-95 toy rear.
if you can tell me why these shafts would not work in this scenario that would be great....
i have NO intent to misinform anyone with this post! and if i can use these as spares i may not sell them.
