I don't eat pickles but my husband does, he said they weren't spicey enough for him so next time we'll add more jalapenos or maybe some habeneros.

And hahaha, no, the cake was for my 4 year old.

Turned out pretty good... had a little kick w/ the jalapenos... I would call it more of a GUMBO than a CHILI...

I made a pot of white rice, and put it over the top and it was good...

I have some leftovers in the freezer to save for a cold fall / winter day :D

It's about time for me to stir up a pot of chili...:awesomework:

Made a big pot of spaghetti sauce the other night, no pics though... I make it up and freeze it in single portions for the wife's lunches...

Ran into B-Rad at the store the other night on a munchie run, whatcha end up making Choppy???

So, I've been on a poached egg kick for a bit... Real simple, perfectly cooked poached egg on a toasted english muffin...

Well, I kicked it up a notch and created, "The Hillbilly"... Poached egg on a buttered toasted english muffin and smothered with sausage gravy... Stupid good...

Pooh, that's a good lookin batch of "chili" I may attempt to recreate and "improve" up on it.

Other than that, I've got speghetti sauce in the slow cooker today, shoulda taken pics, but there's no time in the mornin for fartin around before work.

A red onion diced in big chunks, one jalapeno, my last white mushroom sliced, a quarter of one red and one green bell pepper, and diced ghetto meatballs (hotdogs).

That looks good !

I love a good poached egg. Crab Benedict is my favorite. Eggs benedict with a healthy dose of dungeness crab meat in there. :awesomework:

Im the Eggs Benedict king. I cook that **** all the time.

Tip, Put a half inch of HOT tap water in a short glass and then drop in an egg.

Then put it in the microwave for about 40-60 seconds. It will take a few times to get the "feel"of the eggs and your microwave. You want to to pull it out as close to the "pop" as you can without getting the "pop".

Then pour it over an strainer and put it on a muffin.

I can make eggs benni for 3 people in about 5 minutes. The ol lady does the eggs and I do the rest.

Western family makes the best tasting mix too. The McCormick one doesnt taste as good and is more loot.

What the hell is a mix? :fawkdancesmiley:

I use the recipe from the Joy of Cooking for my hollandaise sauce. Comes out great, everyone says I make the best. But it takes a about 20 minutes to make it real good...

Fresh cheese and pepper Bagels and crab cakes to go with my fresh caught alaskan salmon that I cooked up on a cedar plank. I needed to get the onions, tatoes and lemons to go with the salmon.

Dont be fooled by dirtys pics here, I seen him with a cart full of microwave meals. :kissmyass:

I cooked up a modern day Smorgasboard at the Poohbair pad last night...

Started with some chickens in the smoker... hot smoked them for about 2 hours, maybe a touch more...

295931_2578711428775_1284061476_33194402_1903339950_n.jpg

Then I had a bunch of chicken breasts rolled in bbq sause and seasoning... and some bread, and veggies...

296072_2578710068741_1284061476_33194396_119360284_n.jpg

When those were about done, I had a few more chicken breasts that I rolled in some seasoned bread crumbs, and then threw them in the deep fryer...

Then the chickens were pulled out of the smoker, and put them in the deep fryer for about 2 minutes...

315655_2578710788759_1284061476_33194399_1400387320_n.jpg

Then we threw some fries in the deep fryer... no photo...

And then I pulled the bread from the foil and grilled it...

310571_2578710908762_1284061476_33194400_1038794502_n.jpg

And Ori brought over some pies...

And we had a feast...

294753_2578711148768_1284061476_33194401_7743605_n.jpg

I can't stop myself...

Toasted bread, tuna glue, pickled jalapenos, cause I'm stupid like that...

Chili cheese fritos, what??? Bringing sammich making to whole a new level...

More toased bread, more tuna glue, cause only putting tuna on one slice of bread is for the weak minded...

Yellow mustard, fresh ground black pepper... You're silly for not making this yourself...

Well since me and the wife got elected by our friends to throw a Haloween party at our house, its only tradition that we have some Spodie :redneck:

Heres the ingredients I used;

3 Watermelons (Small Ones)
1 Pineapple
2 Cantelopes
2 Honeydew
1 Bag of Frozen Strawberries (adding 2 more tomorrow)
1 Bag of Frozen Raspberries
1 Can of Fruit Cocktail
2 Cans of Mandarin Oranges
1 Can of Peaches
1 Bag of Grapes (adding tomorrow)
1 Half Gallon of Raspberry Vodka
1 Half Gallon of Orange Vodka

Going to let the fruit soak up the Vodka before we add the sprite & Hawaiian Punch & some other alcohols. Here are some pictures from the process making it today, and that container holds 5 gallons of liquid:D

Spodie-odie is a tradition at my elk camp, good for breakfast too. Boone's farm makes a nice addition for volume or to take place of the sprite.
