Cash and Carry has a great selection of full slabs of beef. Couple times a year ill buy a boneless rib eye and cut my own steaks.

Tonight I pulled a full Martha Stewart and baked 5 dozen cookies

Only problem is I have to take 4 dozen to my kids wrestling tournament tomorrow... boooooo

Oh well, gave me an excuse to stand in the kitchen and drink beer and watch Gold Rush for a few hours :D

Decided to open the test kitchen today and play with some bacon... Mmmmm, bacon...


Laid out on a cooling rack on a cookie sheet and baked at 350 for 15 mins... Might got a little longer next time to get it more crisp...

Then unrolled some can cinnamon rolls and rolled up the bacon inside them...

Baked them at 350 for 25 mins and hit them with some frosting...

Of course, had to make sure the kids won't like them...:redneck:

Last night I made pork loin, mashed up taters, ranch beans and some good ole garlic bread... Twas tasty...

Few nights ago was teriyaki chicken...

Played around with some sweet and spicy crockpot meatballs... Used some jalapeno jelly I made... Turned out pretty damn good...

Made up some Nanner Puddin' just like my Granny use to make... I can't get enough of this stuff...

A staple snack food in my family since I was a kid... Homestyle fries...

Made up some peanut butter cookies... Nom, nom, nom...

I went and churched it all up... Turkey with cream cheese, avocado and bacon on a croissant roll... I love turkey around the holidays...

But, the best turkey sammich is a straight forward turkey, mayo, mustard, black pepper on whatever bread you like to rock...

Made up a batch of chili...

Me and the youngest boy decided we wanted grilled sour dough burgers... The wife opted for grilled cheese...

Baked up some Cinnamon Roll French Toast for me and the boys...

And a whole mess of nachos for the foosball game... Of course I had to use some of the chili I made...

So, there was a bunch of roasts on clearance and I grabbed one to dry roast for sandwiches... Nothing like roast beef for under $2 per lb...
