The TA4101 is one of the largest 12V compressors that Thomas makes - one of the 'big guns'. Seen them for $400.00 dont know what they are now. a good friend hooked me up with a deal on mine.
The basic specs are:
1/3HP motor (12V, 28A at rated load)
1.45CFM at 40psi (1.85 CFM at 15psi)
100 psi maximum pressure (rated continuous duty)
1800 RPM motor - quiet
You can get these for $200 on ebay. The Puma 12volt is what I run and its pretty damn fast! Faster than any of the Viair pumps, and half the price. 1HP motor 3.4CFM and 100% cycle.
I like the york setup, but I haven't mounted mine yet. I have an ARB pump that I use if needed, but I don't need air much, and you can set a bead with a tire pump if done right.
