Anyone plan on going up for opening night? Couple of us are planning to be there, gotta call and make sure there gonna actually open it on time this year, they dropped the ball last year. We plan on being there for the weekend. When I called last week, I was told the 31st at midnight, but again, was told that last year too.

Last year there was 6" to a ft or more. Main parking lot had an inch or so. But it dumped heavy snow all day wheeling, awesome day. Yep March 31/1st. Pic was at top of 311.

The user group meeting for Evan's Creek is tonight @ 700pm in Enumclaw. The meeting agenda doesn't specifically address the gate, but I've emailed MJ and asked if we can add it to tonight's meeting.

Hello all,

Here is the agenda for next week’s meeting to be held at the DNR conference room Monday, March 14 7-8pm.

· Snoqualmie RD Public Services org update.

· SnoPark update and wrap up.

· Summer work party dates. (If you know your dates come ready to let us know…)

· Evans Creek certifications/workshops.

· Evans Creek Map â€" getting closer to a final draft!

Best,

The meeting is held in the WA State DNR Conference Room in Enumclaw, on the 2nd MON of every odd numbered month. To find the meeting, continue past the FS Ranger Station on HWY410 (like you are heading to Greenwater) and take a right on 284th AVE SE. Take the first right and park in the paved parking lot. The conference room is out behind the main DNR building...follow the paved path to find the meeting room. Email [email protected] or [email protected] with questions.

Damn, working tonight. Like I stated, they dropped the ball last year, hopefully they follow thru and open at midnight like said.

I spoke to Tyler Smith, the FS LEO...I told him there was a group interested in a night run. He said the gate will be open at midnight. Be prepared for a lot of trees to be blocking the trails...please cut them out or turn around. You probably want to pack a couple chainsaws and some extra gas/mix.

Already planned, thanks! Last year suprisingly with all the heavy snow there were not many down trees at all, tons of low hanging branches weighted with wet snow that unfortunately ended up in our laps. My seats were puddles, literally!!! We'll be there waiting for the gate to open.

The Willys is not QUITE ready and the runner doesn't fit.
I am due to go out and play soon.

Bring tire chains. The road up had snow on it. About 1" in the first parking lot. 6" at the Mowich gate. Forecast is sun all week but the trails will be slick.

Gravel road is potholes the whole way, its in horrible shape.
