I am trying to plan a trip to Oregon this summer for some camping and wheeling. Our group will consist of rigs setup with 35's -40's, no buggies as of yet. Where do you guys like to go? Searching has not revealed the quality of whats out there in terms of camping, amenities, size of wheeling area, level of trails, and rules. So.... Whats good, bad, or otherwise?
Thanks,

Its a big state. What part of Ore. are you planing on. Theres tillimok in the NW corner Lots of sand dune areas along the coast. Virtue flats in the NE corner and The grounhog area by Bend. Theres the Mcgrew trail kinda south central and Christmas vally down south as well. There are quite a few of these areas on the PNW4WDAs site www.pnw4wda.org

We will probably go somewhere central or around the Bend area. If its worth the trip we may be persuaded to other areas though.

Tillimuk has been great wheelin in the past for us, gone to the Flat Broke and 4 wheelin holloween poker run for the last 2 years and stayed in Forest grove motel about a 30 min drive.

Ben. Not to worry my friend. Gonna call my buddies at 4-Locked and hit the trails with them. My Pops will be coming with us with the motor home and dirt bikes.

And just to re-iterate...There will be NO 35in tired rigs anywhere to be seen near us:beer:!:haha:

Bend Area for Sure:awesomework:

Dirtbikes! mmmm sweet. I'm really torn whether to get a bike this summer or put chromo's in the jeep. I guess I'll have to see what kind of torcher the new locks/MTR's put on my stock shafts.
That would be kickass if we could roll with the 4-locked crew. There will be one rubicon on 35's (my buddy from California). Oh, I'm painting Nathans bronco next weekend so that will be going too. He is on IROK 36's right now but he wants to go back to 35's to make it a little more streetable. He will probably be the broke leg dog with his Uber stiff suspension. There is one other rig from California coming, I forget the specs but its on 60's with 40's. Im not sure what my buddy from Bend wheels with.

Im glad your in, this is gonna be a sweet trip.

And yes Memorial weekend is the plan.

I am thinking I will take Friday off to make it a 4 day and beat some of the traffic.

So is there room for me in that RV?? :redneck:

well....if you don't mind a few more rigs taggin along:cool:

justin better be takin his buggy:D

how long are you guys planning on staying for,

Let me just get with my buddy from CA,

This started as a small camping/wheeling trip to meet up with some old friends I haven't seen in a while. I'll talk to them and see if they are game for this becoming a larger venture.
