When it's time to chop the back off maybe just use a HB extended cab and toob bed?

What does semi-broken mean?

350/4l80e/SF14bolt

Im probably not gonna get that fancy, chop it an get a soft top made for it.

An semi-broken means its semi-driveable, I need to replace one of the brakelines (yes still:haha:) both bumpers are destroyed, driveside door doesnt like to open cause stupid sliders bent up into the body.

IF / WHEN my rig gets totaled out back, i have the same plans.

But its nice to stay dry with the family.. But i'm getting tired of fixing broken glass

funny how a set of swampers turns it into a "straight up wheeler" huh.
i still suffer through mine though, always ready to lose a bearing or a wheel or maybe even steering as she jiggles down the freeway:redneck:

Dont do one of those jungle gym devices on er. them things are straight up hideous.

Some tech:

Trying to figure out the rear driveline situation. Here are the measurements of the yoke/u-joint on the diff side.

The u-joint measurements do not match up to any stock standard spicer u-joint, so I started looking at other options.

I found this 1350 series u-joint flange that has a matching 3.75" bolt hole diameter.
Parts

There is also a 1330 flange with the same bolt hole diameter.
Parts

And a 1310 flange.
Parts

Curiously that 1310 flange says Nissan, so I am not sure if its for newer Nissans with the metric D44 variant or what.

Reduction gears pressed onto new shaft. Done with dis-assembly, time to assemble!

Doubler box and D300 in! Time to fab a new crossmember, drivelines, and shifters. T-case fits up with pretty much a flat belly with no body lift or body modifications. The crossmember that held the torsion bars is gonna have to be modified.

I believe Damnyankee had some u joint issues when he did his doubler if I remember correctly. Hopefully he'll chime in with what he ended up using.

I wussed out on making a set of manual shifters. Its possible, but I was having a hard time getting it done. So I bought a set of cable shifters.
