I really hate doing sheet metal work but the trans tunnel had to come out to fit the granny stick.

C'mon man, do it!!! It's such a pain in the arse to get everything to fit in a car but look how cool it is!!!!!

What are you gonna do about the trans shifter? Gear anger style or big tall rat rod style? Love the one links also truly a budget bouncer/crawler build for sure keep us updated good job

Thanks for the compliments! I'll use a rod that hooks to the shifter stub and runs back to another shifter, basically like a front wheel drive car that has manual linkage or a VW Bug.

Reusing what I can I started rebuilding the trans tunnel.

A safety guard built out of a 1/4 thick steel pipe that I sliced and flattened because I'd rather not get hit with a flying d-shaft.


You'll notice I cut the dash out also, gotta redo it because of the shifter linkage I have to build now.

Not sure if this would help or not, but it would move the shifter back closer to the seat.
