Pop in front end psd

So I have a 2000 f250 psd and recently when I go to brake a little hard I get a pop on the drivers side front I looked at brakes everythng looks fine just jacked it up and peeked around for a second and can not anything that jumps out grabed wheel everything seems tight axle u joint is good just threw a little grease in the ball joints and tie rod end .... Thinking lower ball joint ? Anyone else had this problem o and it's just one pop each time

Check your sway bar bushings. They get worn out and can cause a thump.

leaf spring bushing on the shackle end mine is doing it right now too

Thanks I'll check I looked at the leaf spring bushings seemed ok but also hard to tell thanks

replaced alot of ball joints for that problem

The pop on my 97 went away when I did BJ's too.... Though yours has unit bearings too that could have taken a crap...

If ya replace the ball joints spend the extra$$ and get some upper end joints like MOOG's the cheapos wont last long

No mine is a 6 sp with hubs

yeah that has unit bearings. they wont normally make that kind of noise anyway so i wouldnt worry. just lift the front tires off the ground and check ur bjs

I did that and they seem good
