That's her personality. Ruins my vibe pretty much everywhere we go. I wonder if she has some underlying depression issues or something. Absolutely cannot stay off the ****ing phone either. That's why 9 out of 10 pics I've posted over the years, she is on her phone. Some have even pointed that out on here. I try to talk to her about it, she gets mad....like **** you, I'm not on my phone too much. Well **** if you ain't, I'd hate to see what it looked like when someone WAS on their phone too much.... I don't care if she's on her phone when there ain't **** else going on, but there are times you need to focus on the people around you instead of staring at a ****ing screen all day. **** drives me insane.

THIS^^^^^^ Whenever I see people out in public and they are engulfed in their phones, as she seems to always be, I cannot help to think that they are cheating on the other or that they are not interested in them. My .02 Josh, be nice about it and have a FAMILY meeting, yes with her son as well and set down some ground rules. In my house, no matter who is there with us, phones are left on the counter or turned off. That is a time for family, treat them like they are your family and make them respect you as the "Husband/Father/Leader" of them. If you don't pose to be one, you'll never be one.

And remember rule #1, "Don't sweat the petty things, Pet the sweaty things" flashemifyougotem

We have the phone argument every now and then. It's a double standard though. If she's on her phone it's 99% dealing with facebook drama with family / friends / stupid **** and its "OK" for her.

When she is bored / has no drama to chase, thats when I get the "you're always on your phone". Not really sure why she tries to argue certain things that she gets her ass kicked on repeatedly......I just say "I pay for BOTH phones and i see no problem".

So that is a win/win. NOW she has drama to go use her phone with and leave me alone. :)

Man reading the last couple pages of this thread and other **** going on with friends i'm not sure marriage is worth it. Granted it would be nice to have some help with the bills and regular ass but that's abot the only two things i can think of.

You're right. People marry for different reasons. Money, companionship, love, future...and sadly, because all their other friends are doing it. I'm sure there are plenty of storybook romances out there but you have to choose it for YOUR reasons.

My parents met when they were 18, married with in 8 months of meeting each other and are still together today. Imagine living up to that one. Hell when they were my age they had a 5 year old, I have a dog ha.

I think she has sever adhd or some ****. Like a kid that can't sit still and has to be doing something to keep them occupied, the phone keeps her occupied. Which is ****ing stupid at the ripe age of 30 yrs old. I told her yesterday that she was 30 ****ing years old, not 18....time to put the phone down and be a grown up around other people.

One of the main characteristics that played a part in choosing to marry was that no matter what I am not the least bit worried about her cheating on me. She just aint that kind of person. An asshole yes, but a loyal asshole. *****es are sneaky, never had one before that I was so sure of their loyalty. Lol.

when i worked at the lumber yard i put the bosses car on craigslist for something absurd, made up a story about going through divorce and needed quick cash for lawyer, then i put that he worked 3rd shift to not call before 11pm..... he was PISSED the next day but i laughed my ass off.
