That couldn't be any less true. I had a Bachelors degree in Business with emphasis in Marketing/Management and couldn't get an interview anywhere. However I had a salary range I wanted to be in as well.

Went back to school for Engineering Graphics and had a job before I finished. I have a good (paying) job now and am in negotiation with another job that would be a much better schedule. Also have one in limbo from an interview back in December which I hope they are able to hire for this quarter. Got an email last month asking if I was still interested so it sounds promising. Granted, my situation is rather different, I have a lot of friends with the same degree making good money and went to work right after they finished up.

I am working on my Mechanical slowly. I am almost finished with the Associates and about twelve classes from the Bachelors.

Engineering graphics is a good degree/field, lots of employers are looking for people that can do CAD. Even if you are just a sales person doing concept drawings and proposals and no actual engineering.

What's the draft of the ship and depth of the water? Not enough info! :stir:
 
What about the barometric pressure, water temperature, relative humidity, and outside ambient temperature :flipoff1:

No no there wasn't if the ship was sitting on bottom it wouldn't lower with the tide therefor exposing more steps out of the water! :dblthumb:

Well, there have been many jobs posted here at work that require a BS in Business to apply for (front office jobs), and even though my current job deals with front office folks on a regular basis and I am 100% confident that I could learn and be proficient at their job with or without a degree, it’s still a requirement and weeds me out from the other picks of whom has a degree. If nothing here develops, my work history should aid in finding a good job somewhere, hopefully remaining in the energy field as either some sort of manager, purchaser, logistics, etc. If not, I may go back and grab an Engineering degree down the road. I am really enjoying learning everything business related, I wouldn’t mind owning my own business one day. Nonetheless, things learned pertaining to this degree will be useful the rest of my life regardless. Business is everywhere and will always be.
 
When your in business for your self, math is real important. You have to figure out how to pay 120,000.00 worth of bills with only $100,000.00. I don't knw what kind of math to use to do that. I usually use the "first come first serve" math, the first one comes knocking, gets paid first. when the money is gone, we close.

LOL! I like yer arithmetic! I had Accounting I last semester, had no idea there was that much to the Accounting process for a business. I should have Accounting II this next semester unless I decide against the 8am on campus class. That's too damn early for me to be up working 2nd shift. That's what time I went to sleep this morning after doing 7 hours of math last night!
 
I have taken "accounting 111" . I'm accounting on paying these people just as soon as I get funding.

I'm sure everybody knew the answer. It's a trick math question. Now the one where the waitress waits on three guys ant the meal cost 25.00. Each man gives her a ten and said to keep $2.00 tip. There is $5.00 left and she pockets 2.00 given each man back 1.00 each. That makes each man paying $9.00 each. 9x3=27+2=29. where s the other $1.00? This will be all, my brain is starting to hurt.

10-4. I agree that the Business will be helpful. I commend anyone older for going back to school. I went back at 27 and it was the best move i've ever made. It's also great to be in a company already, you should have no issue moving on up once you meet the requirements.

I enjoy it, it's a lot of work sometimes, but it's something I want so I enjoy the challenge. Back straight out of high school, I went for one semester and was like fawk this ****, I can work hard and make enough money for my needs...Lol. Nothing could have convinced me otherwise. Some just take different routes to get to the same destination. I actually am proud I went to work first and landed a good job that is now paying for my school instead of accumulating a ****load of debt in student loans. I feel like I'm more of a sponge - soaking up all the things I'm learning in school versus how it would have been if I continued going as a teen. I hated school back then, all I wanted to do was chase women and ride motorcycles and 4x4's :rolf:
 
Seen this beast of power going north on i75. It has 4 merc 350s on it :woot:

Steve and I were at the miami boat show this spring and seen a center console boat with 7 657's . That is 657 hp. They are supercharged 6.2 gm v8's
