That couldn't be any less true. I had a Bachelors degree in Business with emphasis in Marketing/Management and couldn't get an interview anywhere. However I had a salary range I wanted to be in as well.
Went back to school for Engineering Graphics and had a job before I finished. I have a good (paying) job now and am in negotiation with another job that would be a much better schedule. Also have one in limbo from an interview back in December which I hope they are able to hire for this quarter. Got an email last month asking if I was still interested so it sounds promising. Granted, my situation is rather different, I have a lot of friends with the same degree making good money and went to work right after they finished up.
I am working on my Mechanical slowly. I am almost finished with the Associates and about twelve classes from the Bachelors.
