I'm still looking for ideas on door latches. The plan is 1" tube and 7/8 bolts for hinges. Open to suggestion on latches

This is what I was thinking. Lube bush it and use a smaller bolt.

I made it to where a modified YJ door top and a windjammer behind the seats make for a cozy warm winter ride

It flat works, Ranger11 on here told me that I should steal the suicide door idea from a Gayzr, that's what I came up, go for it, my set up works pretty good in IMHO, it has just enough gaps so I don't need to crack a window to :smoke: in the winter, but holds heat nicely. :dblthumb:

I even threw a step in passenger door for the wife, the older I get, the more I think I might put one in my door.

I like those doors, I toyed with the idea of using some short hood struts on my tube doors to keep them from slinging open when on hill sides and such but never did.

The trail is epic, Mother Nature outdid herself. We went over to the course yesterday and watched a lot of the guys play on some nearby rocks most of the ones in the event. I can tell you this with no bias toward any of them whatsoever it will be a Red Dot Rig that wins this. They pretty much make everything else look silly.

Jesse has to try and swap engines apparently. Cracked a piston yesterday. That little 1.4 is cool but it seems like he has had one issue after the other out of it.
