The 4wd van conversion probably used a Ford HP44 or 60.

All the ones I've seen did.

Neighbors have an 80s Ford and Chevy 4wd pimped out high roof conversion vans. They both have HP60 driver drop. Not sure about the tcases though, haven't looked under them.

Never seen a 400 in a Quigley conversion. I'm quite certain that they made them. The only one's I've seen had th-350's with a 27-31 spline adapter shaft and a Ford Spec 205. These had HP44's. Cool set-up.

I would have never known anything about it till I was watching American Pickers one night and they bought a bunch of them and showed the first one, and I was like holy hell, I got that one. I was cleaning up a shop after a tornado hit it, and found it on the floor.
