Well about 6 weeks ago I started with this

just a little Windsor, I have never tire a motor down and rebuilt it, took me a little while but I got it together

was really nervous today when I hit the switch, fired up and appears to run great, haven't driven it yet because new crossmember is just tacked together, to say I'm stoked is a understatement, I spent a lot of money on parts and hopefully it's gonna pay off

Well I thought something was wrong because when I let it down off the jack stands it sat about an inch higher and then I was like... oh yeah all the Mopar stuff weighs 4 tons. 8) :P

Well I thought something was wrong because when I let it down off the jack stands it sat about an inch higher and then I was like... oh yeah all the Mopar stuff weighs 4 tons. 8) :P

Funny you say that. Yes some of the late model Mopars are heavy. But I was thinking last night about starting a thread on how so many of the fastest and most capable production vehicles right now are Mopars.

Really? I'm talking about production vehicles.......from the factory, not something that has been modified from the way it rolled off the assembly line.

I'm sure some dumbass could run 11's in it. But you and I both know that if you can halfway drive it, even if you just foot brake it will still run a low 10.

And I haven't seen where it runs 11's. I've seen a bunch of Hellcats that run low 11's right off the lot, but not a Demon.
