Replace the harness for them as well. :dblthumb:Beerj said:I wonder how much better she'll run once I replace these knock sensors.
Yessir! Just now got it back together. Seems to be a lot more responsive and isn't smoking at all. Those old ones did not want to come out. Had to break them down to the last layer and weld a nut in them. Then I proceeded to twist the hell out of my ankle. And to top it off, I noticed one of my trailer tires looked like this. All this before making the 9 hr drive to Harlan tomorrow. Wonder what's next...grcthird said:Replace the harness for them as well. :dblthumb:

It's always an unfortunate possibly. I think Ford stopped using a D50 in 01. My 02 has a D60 03-04 should as well. It's a fine axle.ranger11 said:Thinking d50?

I would have rather had a pre SD to match the rear but this was way cheaper which leaves more money for gears, locker, hubs etc.
Yes that was my intent.ranger11 said:I don't care, I was just wondering what Rusty was thinking by asking the nut size? The only thing I could think of was to determine what it is.

Or are you just going to re-drill the unit bearings?
