Well, that was an adventure that I don't want to repeat anytime soon. Oh, and a big thank you to my buddy Dave for giving me the parts and helping me through it over the phone.
Got my piece of junk a roller now, hopefully have it ready for fall! P.S. never build one from ground up! To much money and time.View attachment 116765View attachment 116766

Could you do this to the movie money?A guy here in town showed me this counterfeit bill, apparently it's from the movie industry, it looked and felt very real except where it said for the motion picture only.View attachment 116850
WowWent to the local yards today.Found and bought a F-550 mono beam for $100
Dillion,100 bucks is a deal on one, my 550 **** is still sitting next to the dana 80 they are meant for. The knuckles and chunk was the easy part, the big money shafts to make it all work put a stop to that axle build a while ago though.
Whats the plan with yours? 14 bolt or 80 chunk?
14 bolt is the plan. Work has a vendor with a 40 spline spool. Spicer gears and the new 40 spline shafts branik is working on or there new 4340 stuff.100 bucks is a deal on one, my 550 **** is still sitting next to the dana 80 they are meant for. Dillion,
I know you were talking to moonlight racing but my moonbeam and 14 bolt are sitting there too since I wound up buying a rig. I was going to run Overson shafts. I kept it incase I wanted rear steer later.

Branik hats and rotors with a JHF bracket for the 450/550 knuckles to mount a wilwood dynaliteAt the time I bought it all, I think Ouverson was the only one making shafts to fit the unit bearings, with rcv coming in soon after. I planned on doing 2" stuff all the way through with a pinion brake on the tcase output since no one had really came up with good brakes for the 550 stuff. Its all in a pile to be built one day, but the shop gets all the would be parts money and I just baby the 44s under the sketchytruck around best i can.
Hell yea, post up a thread on it when ya build it. Curious to see what you do for brakes, I havent kept up with what's out there since I postponed mine
Think I just got a helluva deal. If so the super joints I stole few months ago will be for sale possibly
Out of curiosity I priced that kit and found it for 1230, so yes you got a deal.
Tell hims I wants my lights warranted!!!Better picView attachment 117475
