powder coating inc did all there stuff, friend used to work there, did alot of there bumpers.

I've never had anything powder coated. What are the costs like? How much would a bumper or set of rock sliders cost? I assume they have to media blast everything beforehand also.

Just curious because I've always avoided it because I thought it was expensive.

I've been quoted $100 per wheel. One of my guys had a set of calipers just done for $50

Price all depends on size and quantity

We had 20 4 foot by 4 foot aluminum frames done and it was I wanna say around 600 bucks with prep time (they were bare metal so they just do a 3 step acid wash in this case) It would have been higher if the material was painted because then yes they do have to get it media blasted

Putting powder coating on something that rubs and scrapes off in big ol nasty chunks is awesome!

Maybe you can get a can of "powdercoat spray can" to touch it up in the future. :rolleyes::haha::haha:



Rule of thumb, dont powdercoat abusive/armor parts.

You are always so direct when it comes to things like this :corn: you are right good ol spray paint or upgrade to primer then paint, hell use the brush paint and put it on thick.
