question about steel prices.

What are you guys paying for 1/8", 3/16 and 1/4" plate in 5x10 sheets? I'm in North GA just curious what others are paying. When using on a plasma table are you using hot rolled plate or P&O? I bought P&O once because the "sales man" said the cut quality was sooo much better and less slag but I didn't notice much if any difference. What says Hardline?

I do all GR 50 and I'm paying about $.40/lb. Some is down to midtoupper 30s, some is lower .40's per pound.
Just looked, 4x10 of gr50 1/4" plate was $.41 delivered to my shop with no additional delivery fees

that's pretty close to spot on what I am paying. I don't buy a ton of volume so I was just wondering.

I just bought three sheets 1"x8'x20ft for road plates gave .40.

4x8 of 1/4 plate for 2 local places is $.53/lb and $.56/lb. Don't know of any other options outside of driving 1 hr, Located in Dalton, GA btw.

Call Coosa Steel. They may deliver up there. Not sure about for one sheet though. Also I was wrong I am paying .49c a pound delivered.

I'm no help on supplier, but just paid $.43 delivered for 1/4" gr50
