Raer drive shaft replacement = high speed wabbels

so i got a used drive shaft, bolted right up, but there is a small dent in it. so i took it out on the freeway, going faster and faster and around 69mph i noticed that i was starting to get a lot of shacks, and i didnt dare go faster then 85ish.

i know it has to be becouse of the balanceing on the rear drive shaft is off, but should it be ok as long as i keep it below where it shakes?

might be fine. how was the u-joints?

it's pretty cheap to go and have the drive shaft rebalanced at a shop

The "shaking" starts when it starts turning, it just doesnt get bad enough for you to feel it until you are going faster.....

One day it will be a issue. Get it retubed when ya can afford it.

thanks for the imput, im going to do some research and see if i can get a steel one to fit
