So, last November I told you all how I toook the Jeep out after fourteen months in the garage and in my excitment forgot to fill the diffs with fluid. Ran it once on the brand new front end all dry, started howling. Limped it back to the trailer. I took it home, filled it up and have run it another dozen times or so with fluid.

I took it apart today to replace the seals (hmmmm, I wonder why it's not working?) and this is what I found.

Who needs gear marking compound? lol

It should run fine. I'm gonna replace the seals in the ARB, throw it back together, set the backlash at the light end of the range and go (after I fill it back up of course :redneck: )

You may have worn through case hardening of teeth, its hard to tell by the pics. If so, your ring and pinion will keep deteriorating and eventually fail. Keep an eye on it...
