Is the bridge still out on Frankfurt road? The one that got washed out from the rain in February.

No, the bridge is finished and the road is newly paved.

Good deal on the bridge info! Got everything but food and clothes packed and ready to head down to Hawk Pride either late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

Had a blast down at RBD. Enjoyed seeing all the out of state friends and meeting some new ones/ Took a ton of pictures so will get some posted up later this week.

Thanks to Ricky/Speeding for all the work involved on putting together this annual event.

we rode Friday only, but had a great time. good to see everyone for sure. if HPO could just get some more graveled parking that would be great! having to load up in 8" of red mud sucked haha

Didn't bump into you on Friday, but saw the Terminator buggy on Friday morning with one driver/owner, and saw it again on Saturday morning with a different driver/owner.

We had a rv spot for the weekend, which was thankfully hard packed dirt/gravel so getting out Sunday morning was easy. However, the rv spots right across from us, it was that red clay mud you mentioned.

I drove down Wednesday to drop the trailer off at Hawk Pride in the rv spot and head back home for Thanksgiving Day stuff with the family. We drove down early Friday morning. Wife and I ended up riding with Donny & Amanda all weekend in their Smith Buggies. RzR never even got out of the trailer, which we were both 100% fine with. Thanks again for the passenger seats and for "ensuring my financial demise" in terms of tube buggies.

Glad to see our out of state friends and meet a few new ones as well. Already looking forward to RBD 2020.

There's 50 of my 350+ pictures from the ride. I have a ton more, but figured I'd only post some of the highlights.

What happened to that truck with the cab smashed in? Everyone ok?

Story we got told was that the truck flopped over and cab tweaked. They rolled it back onto all 4 tires and proceeded to drag it out of the woods. During the dragging, the steering broke on the Toyota and proceeded to flip all the way over onto it's roof. No injuries from what we were told.

The tie rod broke. Dragging it out of the woods late that night it went up an embankment and flopped over. To get it back on all 4s it was then drug upside down for some time. I wasn't there, but my buddy is the one that was pulling it. :drinkers:

seems like that there had to have been a better way to do that :dunno:

I had a great day of riding in the new buggy and it performed flawlessly. My only problem all day was that I wanted to wheel with so many old friends, I never could get caught up with them, but still got to see some from time to time.

Did you stick around for Saturday or Friday only? New ride is looking sharp for sure.

I just did the Friday thing and headed home afterwards. From what I hear, Saturday brought the rain and the fun was all in the parking lot trying to get out.
