i have been told that you want your rear pinion 2 degrees below your driveline. But with control arms with jonny joints at both ends of my control arms will the pinion still rotate up so the pinion and the driveline are the same angle,or do i just set the pinion and driveline at the same angle from the start.

With leafs yes--you want to try and set the angle for axle wrap. If you run links try and go for zero degrees.

Thats IF you are running a CV up on top.

The 2 degrees is usually for leaf rigs.

BUT

Setting up a linked rig at true ZERO will not rotate/turn the needle bearings and keep wear and lube even inside the caps.

I try to have at least 1-2 degrees, links or leafs. You wont feel 2degrees of misalignent.

On the boats we run, a small amount of angle is critical. Ive pulled apart boats with NO angle (only needs 1-2 degrees) and the caps looked splined inside and very loose.
