This week at Reiter Foothills
We are working hard to address the impacts of heavy ORV use in the area. Last weekend, DNR installed some water bars on the routes north of May Creek. The water bars are intended to direct the flow of water, reducing erosion and sediment impacts to streams.
Future Recreation at Reiter Foothills
The Reiter Foothills Recreation advisory committee has completed its work. DNR is now beginning work on internal review and development of a draft recreation plan for the area. We hope to have that plan ready for public input and SEPA review later this summer. Thanks to the volunteer committee members for all of their hard work.
