Reiter Saturday 04/05

It was a good day to say the least. The trail was worse than I expected, not a lot of traction available; sticky tires would have been really nice. I'm still not quite sure how my pile made it all the way through...Thanks to all the guys for cable pulling, spotting and heckling :redneck:

Hows the jeep look now?:redneck:

I thought Nate and Mark made really good time on the portion of trail they ran*

I would like to add that Darius has played an instrumental roll in both trips through the OM.In the pic..I am looking squarely at D for a spot. There is alot Happening all at once and haveing Darius helping out is friggen awsome!!
Thanks man!!
True dat, by the time his buggy is done he will know all the ins and outs of OM.

Pics? Also how does it work....maiden voyage right?

I beat on it in moab for a week before I brought it back to reiter. Works pretty well for not being a buggy, plus being big and heavy on leaf springs...it went through and didnt break, what more can I say?

Muscle man D should have some pics.

I did get a few pic's today, but I have a camera but no cord to upload, guess you'll all have to wait for tommorow.

What more can you say? You are the first swinging **** with balls big enough to push a LEAF SPRUNG rig through the OM:awesomework: I still have your vise grips, let me know how to get them back to ya:cool:

THANKS THE **** ALOT!! MORE ****ING JUSTIFICATION FOR GO-ROUNDS!!YOU GOT GOT YOURE BIG GAY TIRES AND NOW YOU DON'T FIT.....GO AWAY DOUCHE.....IT NEVER ENDS:mad:

I went the way someone else has gone before to the left up the hill it wasnt an easier way around just another line.. Most any other rigs that try the way we went will end up on there lids in a bad spot...

Another excellent day of wheeling with a good bunch of guys!!! Starting to get most of the lines some what figured out. Maybe one day when it dries out more it would be possible to run the trail without pulling cable but will take lots of work none the less.
I love my new tires!!:awesomework:

It doesn't matter that you went where some other idiot went before you. You knowingly went OFF the trail to avoid going through the gatekeeper. The gatekeepers are not just about difficulty.

You're also setting a bad example by telling people it's OK to go around gatekeepers and go OFF the trail.

You yourself said that you were having a hard time getting through the goalposts so you went around. That's plain WRONG!

Sometimes you guys just DON'T GET IT! I can guarantee that if you were involved in activities in helping to fight to keep the trails open instead of just abusing them, you'd be acting differently. And I don't just mean the occassional garbage clean up...

So pretty much what your saying is all of us should stay off of The Outlet Mall since it wasnt a trail and is now being built as a trail...
Im pretty sure you dont even know the way i went around i know and am pretty sure not to many others will try the line we did i know there are a few rigs on this site that can go the way we did

You STILL DON'T GET IT. You cannot go OFF THE TRAIL PERIOD. Is there any part of that statement that you are unable to understand. Do I need to say it another way. That gatekeeper is there for a reason. If you can't get through the gatekeeper, you don't belong on the trail. Going AROUND GATEKEEPERS COMPLETELY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING THEM!

You're correct, I don't know Reiter because I'm down south, however that doesn't matter. It's completely irrelevant that the line was hard and very few people could even make it. What matters is that you went OFF THE TRAIL to take that line. It's as simple as that.

You may wanna ask Jobless, seems to me as we were cutting in that trail we had a DNR sign in sheet. Don't make assumptions with out knowing the facts. Make your rig fit the trail, not the trail fit your rig:looser: Actions such as your's will have it paved in no time and turn it into another ****ing freeway.

So back to my Question YOU ARE SAYING NO ONE SHOULD BE ON OUTLET MALL??? Since it wasnt a trail and is now being made a trail??? Do you yourself even know what the GATEKEEPER is??

No, I didn't say that. If the OM is properly being made into a new trail with apppropriate permissions etc, that being on the trail is pefect. Going AROUND the gatekeepers and going off the trail to go around the gatekeeper is NOT OK.

I can't speak to whether the OM is a legal trail or not. I can only respond to YOUR OWN POST about going around the gatekeeper because you didn't fit.

How bout you stay on topic here. This is about going around **** because YOU did not fit. Shall we get back to that or do you wish to keep trying to shift the focus away from your piss poor decision?

I am definetely not calling out anyone or trying to piss anyone off. I just asked if that is what he is saying...I understand Jobless, Jeep Mauler, Crash and a whole bunch of others work there asses off to build those trails, im not going for conflict here. There were tracks going the harder way we went and We went that way sorry IM THE BIG A$$HOLE on these trails and went a way that had tracks and looked harder

What's equally or even more frustrating is that the people that went with you, didn't stop you. They all KNOW BETTER! Now you're saying we, does that mean others in your group went around as well?

Just because there are tracks does NOT mean it's part of a trail. This is EXACTLY how illegal bypasses get started and then the hard working people that maintain the trails have to waste their valuable time blocking off these bypasses. It only takes ONE person to go the wrong way and then other people say, "Hey this is a part of the trail, let's go this way.." and off we go to another illegal bypass.

You've obviously been wheeling long enough that you should know better and so should every single person that went with you. You don't build a rig and develop the skills that you have overnight, so you DO know better. Maybe you should spend a little more time working with guys like Crash, or Pokey that have to go deal with the crap that stuff like this causes and maybe, just maybe, you'll get a little more respect for the rules of the trail. That goes for EVERYONE that was on that run. There's no excuse for letting someone in your group drive around a gatekeeper because he didn't fit, or for allowing someone to take a harder line that's OFF the trail, just because someone did it before you.

You're correct, I don't know that particular trail, but that DOESN'T matter. The same rules apply to EVERY trail.
