good news is the front diff, lots of hardware, new bushings, and the power steering will be here friday.

Question: the front driveshaft need to be extended 10" the tubing is 1.25" od, dunno what wall. Can I simply cut it in half and slide both ends in a piece of 1.5" .120 wall Dom and weld the ends as well as a couple plug welds and carry on? Will I have any vibration issues considering The stubs would engage 8" into each end of the 1.5" tube and will 1.5" .120 wall Dom be strong enough?.

Front diff will be here Tomorrow so I'm trying to get my game plan ready for the weekend agenda.

I can't see why that wouldn't work fine. Go with it!

I hope it works bc I'm fixin to help a buddy lengthen the driveshaft on his 1000 and that's how he planned on doin it

There is a good bit of splines showing coming out of the transfer case and it causes a vibration. This is a stock 1k so I'm not sure if it's a common problem or not. Only needs to be lengthened about 3/4" I think
