I have a 38.5 bogger with a pretty good slice in the middle of the tread. Its all the way thru the cords and in to the inside. Its about an inch and a half long slice in the inside. I patched it a bout two years ago and it has held untill last weekend. So now im welding bobbys beadlocks on and was thinking of re patching it but also putting a tube in. Is that possible? Has anyone done it before??

if ur gonna run a tube, you wouldnt need a beadlock.

but depending on the patch used....theres a chance it will work through the tube, and puncture it anyway.
IF you decide to do it. make sure the inside of the tire is VERY clean. dont even leave those little inspection stickers. they WILL rub through the tube.
