salmon fishing in the rivers

So I have put in about 6 hours the last 2 days and have not pulled in any fish...


I was told to use pink... pink spoons, shrimp, pink jigs... I have almost tried everything I have pink or not... even still fishing on the bottom and still fishing with a bobber... pink power bait... pink marshmellows...



Tell me your secrets so i can go catch some fish!!!! Please.

ummm... I use just a pink corky and a 1/0 hook...works just fine...

on your leader, put the corky on then tie your hook on or swivel if using pre-made leaders..some use yarn..I dont see a point in it...yes..they float...also use a slide sinker or pencil lead weight...

I have a buddy that always has me repairing the oddest things. Good part is he fishes almost daily during the good runs.

A run like this is the only time I see him off the boat. Ill ask him what hes using.

dude tie a weight at the end of your line, i like to use 1 oz, because i have a heavy ugly stick and baitcasting reel that sucks, then run a 8 foot leader off that weight on a swivell, put an ORANGE Corky thru the line and tie your hook, your corky should freely slide up and down, then take like a 1.5 long piece of orange yarn, and tie it at the top of the hook. Cast out let the weight drift, keep your line tight, every little bump you get set the hook!!! and you will get em!

You need to hook up with my dad, Drifter, He has been KILLING them, limiting out almost everytime out or coming close. :awesomework:
