School me on shock valving

I have a 94 YJ 2.5L, Ford 44 front/ 9 in rear, waggy springs front and xj springs rear. I'm looking at a set of Bilstein 5150s that at 12" and 14" travel. THe guy says they are valved at 255/70. I have no clue what that means or if they will work on my set up...Can someone school me a little here?
