We are doing this again! Black Mountain Offroad Park in Harlan County, KY. The dates will be Sept. 30th to Oct 3rd.

As usual I think most people will be camping/staying on the Putney side at the Harlan County Campground.

I didn't make this ride last year for the first time in several years. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Post up if you plan to be there.

Absolutely will be there.
Unless my I94 isn't renewed but that's a different topic.

Plan on being their. Have a cabin booked or the right side of the mountain

We'll be there again as well. Always looking forward to it as soon as we leave the year prior.

Any chance we could bump this to the end of October or first of November time frame so more cabins are open to choose from? Guess some of the Hardline group might have already booked theirs and be part of the reason they're all booked.

Last year was the first time we got to go for the Memorial Ride. The actual Hardline Memorial group was maybe 1/4 or less of the total folks staying at Putney that particular weekend.

I booked the last available cabin January 21st . They usually are booked a year in advance.

So you want to move the Hardline ride... because you suspect that Hardline folks have already booked cabins in advance... because of the yearly scheduled Hardline ride...?
If that's the way you understand my comment...typical of liberal media. Otherwise my point was that the cabins are booked...and I was curious if other Hardliners were able to get bookings if they so desired. Otherwise...the Hardline group may not be very big.

As my wife tells me all the time "Your communication skills suck"... :p

I'm going to rearrange the original comment it here so it makes sense to my monkey brain

It is not uncommon for the Putney cabins to stay booked on the weekends till Thanksgiving or so. The fall season is a busy time for the park. He has opened up a new one this year though that looks extremely nice. Truck camping isn’t bad

I’m in hopefully. Got camping reservations. New buggy might be done. Or not. Or I might just day trip again. Who knows

I’m still in. My stickies came Monday. Mighta hurt my motor a little this past weekend. Gonna change oil and say a prayer. I got another rig coming too and possibly another

Don't think I'm going to be able to make it this year. Too much going on so I'm gonna stay close to home. I've got a small cabin reserved on the Putney Side I'm gonna call tomorrow and cancel. Its a new one Steven said was down close to the office. Not real sure about it though. Anybody on here intersted in it before I call him. Not sure if I can get you in front of someone on a waiting list but it's worth a try.

I hate that I'm going to miss this one. Especially since losing Anthony last week and the meaning behind the ride. I'll be back next year for sure. I'm gonna reserve a cabin for next year when I cancel the one for this year.

Those of you going, be careful and have a great time! Drink one for me and Poolman!

Don’t forget Pholman, I had a great wheeling buddy that passed 2 years ago, this was his birthday ride every year. He got me into hardcore wheeling. Him and his crew was the best group of guys I’ve ever wheeled with. I have a lot of beers to drink before I get one for myself

We will be there! Looking forward to this ride. Would like to invite everyone as usual on Friday night to come to camp and join us for some food and fun. We are in spot 10 I’m pretty sure. Will have a ton of pulled pork and stuff to go with it. Always a good time!

I did not forget. I didn't know Patrick but I know he and Poolman were pretty tight. Poolman would want me to make it but it's just not in the cards this year. I'm very thankful this ride has continued on in memory of John and Patrick. We can now add Anthony to the list.
