So I am thinking its time to invest in a sheet metal brake with the tube chassis rigs I have lined up and even for my own rig.

Whats a decent unit?

Note that mild steel is 1/2 width at 16G. It all depends on what you think you are going to do. Personally after my little press brake experiment... I am leaning more towards that. It will take up less room in the shop and be more flexible as far as what it will do and the thickness of material that it will handle.

It's better to make your own. I have 100$ into mine, and it has built panels for 2 cars. I can get .090 aluminum to bend pretty easily with not a lot of heat.

No time to build tools--rigs are stackin up :D

My new one is sitting in bellingham and I plan on picking it up monday..

Made a table for it--can't wait to screw up some **** :haha:
