What would be the best all around wheeling gear set for a single t-case?
OME 2.42? a little lower 3.0 set, even lower 3.8-4.3- and so on. You would need wheel speed for snow/sand/mud, crawl for rocks and such. I used to have a Marlin duel case in the Toy and now am left with the one case in the TJ. Just miss all the options. Would like to upgrade to new gears, but don't want to go too low..

Too low with a single case? Yeah, right :haha:

But aren't you pretty much limited to 4.0 for the NP231?

Options, I was thinking of picking up and Atlas II. Is there much choice for for duel cases on a stock wheelbase TJ? Guess I haven't checked into the new multi speed cases. Maybe look into that.

WOW, can ya squeeze two cases into a Jeep and still have a drive shaft?

You can in a Toyota :fawkdancesmiley:

Na I don't think so,
But I did drive it down to Moab and trash it and drive home,
Can you do that in the YOYO:kissmybutt:

If you have a manuel trans you can split the gears in in a low t-case and generate plenty of wheel speed.
